Richard was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved to play the guitar and sing. When we were all young, we would get together at Grandma Claunch' house and eat, talk, play and sing. I know that he is singing in heaven now and my son, Terry Claunch, who passed away, August 7, 2003 was there to greet his Uncle along with Richard's brother and Terry's Dad, James Edward "Jimmy" or "Big Jim" Claunch. Richard and Jimmy were also met by their sister, Mary Margaret Geron, and brothers, Billy Eugene, Robert Leon, Foardy and Durwood. They are all rejoicing together and keeping a watch over us as we linger on earth.
