Mrs. Blanche B. Gribble, 61, wife of Eddie F. Gribble, died at 6 p.m. Sunday at her home, 2001 S. Jefferson St., after a brief illness.
A resident here 43 years, she came to Muncie from Scott County. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Muncie Chapter of Eastern Star, Women's Relief Corps and the WCTU.
Also surviving are three sons, Wayne R. of R.R. 6, Muncie; Ralph S. of R.R. 5, Muncie, and Ray of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Ed Cook and Miss Phyllis Ann Gribble of Muncie; one brother, Boone Sarver of Anderson, and two sisters, Mrs. Earl Woods of Anderson and Mrs. James Combs of Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Piepho Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert M. Jones. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
