Josephine Foti (nee Opizzi), passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011, at her home in Whippany, NJ. She was 68 years old. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield, NJ., followed by the interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Bloomfield. Private visitation services were previously held for the family. Arrangements are being handled through the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ., Mrs. Foti lived in Bloomfield for 30 years before moving to Whippany in 1998. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruno Foti, loving mother of Michelle and her husband, Alex Dimeo, Dana Morrison, and Lisa and her husband, John Kenneweg; dear sister of the late John Opizzi Jr., and cherished grandmother of Alexander, Michael, Jessica, Natalie and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Make A Wish Foundation at 1034 Salem Road, Union, NJ 07083.
