Mrs. Carmen Larue Stanley, age 27, died at her home on West McCord Street Monday night at 11:30, after a long illness. She underwent an operation about three months ago and had not been well since. Beside her husband, she leaves two boys, Leon Lavern, eight years old, and Jackie Lee, 21 months old.
Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lilnk, formerly of Granby. She leaves three brothers, Morris, Ray and Rex and three sisters, Mrs. Olga Davis, Mrs. Audrey Brewer, Mrs.Mona Miller.
Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. J. D. Prater of the Central M. E. Church.
