Mr. Link was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and a salesman at Spicer and Griffith Motors, in Neosho, receiving many awards for his sales accomplishments. He retired from Montgomery Ward as a salesman. He loved to fish and brush hog, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an elder and an active member of High Street Christian Church, in Neosho.
Rex and Margie (Shimp) were married July 26, 1942, in Diamond, MO; Margie survives. Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Diane Link, Franklin, TN, and John and Marie Link, K.C., MO; six grandchildren, Ryan, Julie Ann, Jennifer, Nicole, Amy and Michael; and 20 great-grandchildren.
