BENTON, Tenn. -- Mrs. Liza Cain Lawson, 79, died at the home of her son, T. W. Lawson, in the Benton Station community Monday evening after an extended illness.
She was the wife of the late Wayne S. Lawson, and was a lifelong resident of Polk County. She was a charter member of the Benton Station Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons; C. W., Clint, Beecher and Ben, all of Benton; a half sister, Mrs. Arvella Cronan and two half brothers, Nelson and Greeley Cain of Benton.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Benton Station Baptist Church at 2 p. m. Wednesday by the Revs. Paul Culpepper, Floyd Long and Lynn Moreland with interment in the church cemetery. Casket bearers will be Vick Dixon, Cam Cook, G. E. Cassidy, Clifford Rose, Frank Howard, Floyd Humphries. The body is at the home of C. W. Lawson. (Obit provided by Cindy Womble Billman)
