Ruth Anne Holmes Kiesig, age 76, died July 19, 1993 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah of respiratory failure.
She was born February 21, 1917 in Buena Vista, Utah, the daughter of Hartley and Minnie Holmes. Married Joseph Kiesig November 22, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and lived in Salt Lake City all their married life. Active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions. She loved to paint landscapes and active in serving others.
Survived by her husband; children, Darrell Barney and Dorothy Coke; one sister, Dorothy Maxfield; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, DelRoy, three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 22, 1993, 12 noon, at the Taylors Grove Ward, 1399 West 4800 South. Friends may call Wednesday, July 21, from 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Sunset Memorial Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, under the direction of Memorial Estates Mortuary.
