THOMASVILLE-Funeral for Mrs. Sarah Mildred Smith Jarrett, 65, of Taylor St., who died Friday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Harold C. Davis Funeral Chapel by Rev. Worth R. Pugh. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Lexington. She was born in Sanford, February 11, 1924, a daughter of William Archie and Leola Rice Smith. She was married to William Franklin Jarrett, who died in 1983. She was a retired furniture worker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Brenda (Gene P.) Combs, of Rt. 3, Trinity, and Mrs. Diane (Harold) Pickrel, of Lexington; six sons, Richard Jarrett, of Thomasville, Terry Jarrett, of Lexington; Don Jarrett, of Thomasville, William Jarrett, of Thomasville, Roger Jarrett, of Thomasville, and James Jarrett, of Thomasville; one sister, Mrs. Maude Thompson of Apex; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
