1st married Adah Howe, 2nd married Ruth Dewey of Westfield on 8 Jan 1811 (int. 6 Dec 1810 Granville VR). Ruth died 13 AUG 1835 (assumed in Connecticut).

Justus Rose. second son of Justus and Deborah, was born July 13, 1760. and died June 4, 1849. He was a Private on muster and pay roll of Capt. William Cooley's company in Col. John Moseley's regiment. Enlisted July 9, 1777 (National Archives, Pension #R9007). He married Ada Howe, November 11, 1784. They lived and died in Granville, Mass. They had thirteen children, four of whom died young. Their sons were Chauncey, Ormond, Justus, Ephraim, Freeman. Patrick, and George W. Their daughters were Arta, who married William Tracy. Dernaras, who married Nathan Knox, and who, in 1850, lived in St. Lawrence County, New York. Deborah never married.

Chauncey Rose, b. 1 Mar 1789 in Granville, m. Charity Warner. Last known record living in Suffield, Hartford, Connecticut in 1850 without his wife. He died on 07 Sep 1852 in Suffied.

Justus Rose, b. 26 Jan 1792 in Granville, m. 1st Sarah White Bancroft in Granville on 28 Sep 1815, Sarah was b. 10 Feb 1794 via Granville VR, d. 3 Apr 1851, m. 2nd 30 Jul 1851 Maryette (Williams) Northway, daughter of Daniel and Comfort Williams, widow of Charles Northway, b. 1799 in Pittsfield, d. 12 Sep 1883. Justus Rose was on of the signers of the 2 Apr 1832 deed for North East Cemetery in Granville.
