Taft pioneer Mrs. Emma Elladine Oxford, 86, passed away yesterday at a local hospital. Mrs. Oxford, who was born in Fayetteville, Ark., on Sept. 6, 1876, had been a resident of Taft for the past 40 years. She was the widow of the late John A. Oxford. Survivors include five sons Orval O., Otto R., Harry, Nolan, and Odis; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Morris and Mrs. Christine Voigt; a sister Mrs. Hatti Warwick; two brothers Charles and George Barrett; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
