FOLSOM
Funeral rites for Mrs. Effie FOLSOM, 82, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Roberts Funeral Chapel with T.J. TEEL of Stilwell, Church of Christ, officiating. Music was furnished by members of the Church of Christ of which she was a member.
Mrs. FOLSOM was born November 20, 1879, in Arkansas, the daughter of Will and Nancy (Mitchell) BARRETT, and died Thursday, February 22 at her home in Westville, following a long illness.
Mr. FOLSOM preceded her in death several years ago.
Burial was in the Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Marvin CAGLE, Oscar SMITH, C.E. PACE, Joy Lee POYNOR, Lee PICKENS, Hardy COMSTOCK. Flower bearers were Mrs. Lee PICKENS, Mrs. Carley PACE, Mrs. Kenneth SHERRIN, Mrs. Paul ROBERTS, Mrs. Vivian JONES and Miss Bertha BROWN.
Survivors were four daughters, Mrs. Syrena PACE, Westville, Mrs. Edna ELLIS, New Castle, Wyo., Mrs. Hattie FOREST, Rock Springs, Wyo., Mrs. Gertrude CHURCH, Powell, Wyo.; one son, Elmer FOLSOM, Kansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie WARWICK and Mrs. Emma OXFORD of Calif.; two brothers, George and Charley BARRETT of Calif.
