Mary was the daughter of Steve and Nora (Park) Funkhouser, she was born near Needmore, in Hardy County, West Virginia. There, she grew up on the family farm with her five sisters and three brothers. She met her husband, John Morris of Wardensville at Wardensville High School. They have been married for 59 years.
Mary was the mother of Vickie Jo Morris, Debbie Hattery and her husband Tom, Steve Morris and his wife Sandy, Billy Morris and Kimary Hubble and her husband Dana.
Mary is predeceased by her sister Eunice Bradfield.
Mary had ten grandchildren, Hannah Mary Morris, Nora Hattery Kashani, David Hattery , Matthew Morris, Sarah Sweitzer, Nathan Morris, Janelle and Michael Morris, Gary and Grayson Hubble. Mary had one great grandson, Tucker John Morris.
