Green died on October 9, 1889 at the age 69 and is buried in Section A of the Bethesda Cemetery (the marker can no longer be identified) near Crockett Mills, Tennessee. His son, Bedford Forrest Coop, was the administrator of his estate.

I think I can help. G.B.H. Coop was a son of Richard Coop (1785-1852)of Bedford County, TN, and after 1822 Gibson County, TN. You can confirm this in Marsh, Helen C. "Soldiers of the Revolution in Bedford County, TN" page 42 whch is a manuscript on the family of Abraham Cooper who was Henderson's maternal grandfather. Richard Coop was a son of Horatio Coop of Harford County Maryland, a Revolutionary War soldier.
