CORTLAND, N. Y. - Clayton R. Alcorn Sr., 68, of 85 Hamlin St., a former Atlantic City, N. J., native died Tuesday in Cortland Hospital.
He worked as a sales representatives for 34 years for the Homasota Co. in Trenton, retiring in 1975. A local resident, he came here in 1949. He was born in Atlantic City.
Mr. Alcorn was a member of Cortlandville Masonic Lodge 470 and the United Presbyterian Church here.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanore; two sons, Clayton R. Jr. of Cortland and John W. of Seneca Falls, N. Y.; a sister, Dorothy Kahle of Cortland; and give granddaughters.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home here.
Services and burial in Atlantic City wil be held at a date to be announced by the Jeffries & Keates Funeral Home.
