ATLANTIC CITY - Mrs. Ordelle C. Alcorn, 92, of 2 N. Jackson Ave., died Wednesday in an area nursing home. She had taught in both local and Brigantine schools and was a graduate of Atlantic City High School and Trenton State Teachers College.
Born in Absecon, she was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Alcorn was a member of Womens Research Club and Ventnor Community church. Her husband was the late J. William Alcorn, a cashier with the Atlantic City National Bank.
Surviving are two sons, James of here and Clayton of Cortland, N. Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy A. Kahle of Cortland, N. Y.; a brother, John Winfield Conover, of Absecon; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 a. m. Saturday at Jeffries & Keates Funeral Home by the Rev. Floyd Home by the Rev. Floyd Swart. Burial will be in Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville.
