. Alma's Father Henry had been a widower for six months with young children to support. He married Elizabeth in July 1876. 1876 was a rough year for this young Chesnut family. Their Mother, Euphemia had died in Dec. 1875 and before 1877, three of the four young ones also had died.
. In December of 1879, Alma' father took two wives, making three wives in plural marriage. This lasted but a short time, both of these wives divorce him, it lookes like the children from these marriages, were entertwined throughout their lives.
. Alma was born just 9 days before his half brother William. Grace's only child. Alma and William's lives were interwoven, as they lived in Millford Co. Utah,in Mexico, during the Mexican Revolution, they returned to the States, Ferron, Escalante and Fruita, Utah.
Both William and Alma held property in Fruita. He lived in Fruita, when Almira passed away. Both families are together in the 1930 Census.
