LEXINGTON – Services for Mrs. Una Howell Blankenship, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Rock Hill Cemetery with Reeds Chapel Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Blankenship, widow of Eliss Blankenship, died Thursday at Lexington Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Butaw Middleton of Memphis and Mrs. Bonnie Patton of Lexington; four sons, Alvin V. Blankenship of Louisville, Ky., Johnny J. Blankenship of Puryear, Hugh E. Blankenship of Memphis and Albert E. Blankenship of Warrensburg, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. - The Jackson Sun, 6 Jul 1979, Fri
