Part of an article on the Armstrong Family
The only surviving family member was the second oldest child, Warwick Armstrong. In later years, he recounted that his sick family was given medicine and pickles to eat. He claimed his survival was due to not taking the medicine and only eating the pickles. When Warwick Armstrong died childless in 1990, the last surviving descendant of Warwick Cameron Kincaid had passed away.
