Marilyn A. Tuttle, 89, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away November 25, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, at John Knox Village Chapel, 400 NW Murray Rd. (Murray & O'Brien), Lee's Summit, MO. Private inurnment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 6811 Shawnee Mission Pkwy., Ste. 202, Shawnee Mission, KS 66202-4088. Marilyn was born October 26, 1922 in Minneapolis, MN, daughter of Heskell Earl and Hazel Ruth (Messner) Wood. She was a past longtime member of the Blue Ridge Trinity Lutheran Church, past member of Ivanhoe Church and presently attended the John Knox Village Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years Jack A. Tuttle, and brother Hartford Wood. Marilyn is survived by her loving sons Stephen E. and wife Theresa Tuttle and Timothy K. and wife Kenna Tuttle; grandchildren Kimberly and husband Eddie Steffan and Lindsey and husband Jeremy Duggins; great-granddaughter Evelyn Duggins; extended family and friends.
