Keziah was the daughter of Nathaniel Henderson (1739-1803) and Rebecca Thornton (1743-1805)

She married Thomas Cook 05 Sep 1792 in Bush River MM, Newberry County, South Carolina. Thomas and Keziah were Friends (Quakers)

Thomas and his family moved to Warren County, Ohio in 1805 and joined the Miami Monthly Meeting there. In 1810 they requested a transfer to the White Water Monthly Meeting. They settled in Vermilion County, Illinois in 1824, where Thomas remained the rest of his life. He was a leading member of the Society of Friends and was noted for his many social and Christian virtues. In Vermilion County they were members of the Vermilion MM.
