Tombstones of John Winans (son of John Winans and Susannah nee Melyn--she was the daughter of Cornelius Melyn.
John Winans: born Oct. 3, 1673 Elizabethtown, NJ (christened Oct. 3, 1674 in the NY Dutch Church) Died Nov. 5, 1734 Elizabethtown NJ. His first wife was Remember nee Baldwin, daughter of of Josiah and Mercy nee Camp Baldwin and her stone is adjacent to his on the left. She was born on Feb 29, 1680 at Milford New Haven Conneticut and died on Feb 10, 1721/22 at the age of 42 in Elizabethtown NJ. Their son Isaac d. 1730 and his wife Hannah and are in the same row with John and Remember's stone adjacent to Remember's. See map of layout of cemetery and you will see their stones (#1115 and #1116) are the only yellow marked stones within the enclosed walk areas--their stones are about the same distance left of the church as the church is wide. 2nd photo is supplied for additional viewing
