Funeral services for Cpl. John Haddeman, a U.S. Marine killed in action on Iwo Jima Feb. 25 1945 will be held Thursday from Stokes & Sons Funeral Home. Interment Brunswick cemetery. A delegation of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 305 will meet the body when it arrives here by train and escort it to the funeral home. Corporal Haddeman is survived by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. E.B. Haddeman, of the town of Brunswick, 7 sisters, Mrs. Lester Wold of Maiden Rock, Mrs. Z.W. Cartwright of Portland, Ore., Mrs. R. O. Woehlenpah of Okauchee, WI., Mrs. Albert Vogler of Brunswick, Mrs. Earl Stai of Eau Galle, Mrs. A. J. Stanton of Eau Claire, and Mrs. Dennis Duax of Ladysmith, 5 brothers, Paul, Earl, and Lee of the town of Brunswick and Edgar and Thomas of Eau Claire. Corporal Haddeman enlisted in the Marine Corps Sept. 1 1941. He was 20 years of age at the time of his death.
