Fayetteville Merchant Taken by Death
FAYETTEVILLE- Funeral Services were conducted at 1 p.m. today for C. F. MacQueen, 61, who died at the home of his son, Charles Fredrick MacQueen, Jr., in Elk Hills, near Charleston.
Rites were conducted from the chapel of the Dodd Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. Henry R. Saunders and the Rev. C. W. Paskel officiating. Burial followed in the Sutton Cemetery.
MacQueen was formerly engaged in merchandising, having a partnership with his brother, J. H. MacQueen, at stores in Fayetteville and Oak Hill.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Dacie MacQueen, one son, Charles Fredrick MacQueen, Jr., of Charleston, Route 5; three brothers, J. H. MacQueen, Fayetteville; A. A. MacQueen, Fairmont; and D. S. MacQueen, Lewisburg: four sisters, Miss Ida MacQueen, South Charleston; Mrs. H. G. Caskadon, Washington D. C.; Mrs. Ada Moore, Ashland, Ky.; and Mrs. Mary Murray, Charleston.
