Higginbotham, Mrs. Lula G.-69, of Sutton, died Saturday after a long illness. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are a son, James L. of Charleston; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Lou Oiler of Georgetown, S. C.; a brother, Louis A. Lombard Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; six sisters, Eva, Virginia, Margaret, Kathleen, Helen and Isabella; and five grandchildren. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church at Gassaway and burial will be in Sutton Cemetery. The body is at Marple Funeral home at Sutton where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday.
