Eva M. Berry, 83, passed away March 13 at St. Thomas Medical Center.
Born in Sutton, W. Va., she had lived in Akron most of her life, and attended the Gospel Crusaders Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, John B., in 1983, she is survived by sisters, Virginia Lombard of Akron, Margaret Shaver of Michigan, Isabell Wiant of Dayton; nephew, Jerry Pierson and wife, Joan of Atlanta, Ga.; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Thursday, 1 p.m., at the Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Rev. Curtis Thomas officiating. Interment at Ellet Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
