Bio

I am an amateur genealogist researching my ancestors primarily in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Tennessee. I am also an active photo and memorial submission volunteer on Findagrave.

I welcome corrections to my submissions or requests for memorial transfers. When submitting edits for profiles I own, use the specific fields available for the edit when available. If you send a "free text" edit when there is a specific field for the data, I will not perform the edit and will not notify you. If you persist in this practice, I will likely transfer the memorials in question to you without explanation.

If you submit information for a biography, please be specific that you want it added to the bio field. I will include credit to you (by your FAG number) in the biography. I do this in case there are questions or disputes about the data that you provided. It if your responsibility to ensure that the biography adheres to FAG guidelines (like not including information about living people). If I see that you have not adhered to the guidelines, I will not perform the edit and will not notify you.

I generally will not update biographies with data items that can be included in the data fields in the memorial. This includes parents, children, marriage data, etc. I feel that biographies should be about the person and not cluttered up with relationships or dates. If you disagree, just ask me to transfer the memorial to you.

If you disagree with an edit that someone else has submitted to me for a memorial that is not a relative of mine, I will likely transfer ownership of that memorial to you so you can resolve the conflict yourself.

For requested transfers, I do not strictly adhere to Findagrave guidelines but I do ask that you provide a reason for the transfer request. If you ask me for some action on a memorial and I am not able to communicate with you (because you have messages on FAG disabled), I will ignore your request.
