Emily Acree Smith, 80, went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2011. She was born on June 15, 1931 in Roxobel, North Carolina the daughter of the late William and Mary Acree. She graduated from Roxobel-Kelford High School. Emily was employed with C&P Telephone Company, retiring with 18 years of service. Above all Emily adored her family, and always put them first. She was an accomplished seamstress. Fishing was a pastime that she enjoyed with her husband. Emily loved the Lord and was a dedicated member of Kempsville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Acree. Emily will be deeply missed.
