Kenneth E. Malinski , 72 of Belleville, Ill., born Nov. 18, 1933, in Tamaroa, Ill., died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Mr. Malinski was a retired auto mechanic from Bob's Auto Shop, Anna, Ill. He was a janitor at PSOP and Wal-Mart in Belleville, Ill. He was a member of New Beginnings Church, Belleville, Ill. and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enect and Anna, nee Hurtz, Malinski ; two brothers; and two sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Deloris A., nee Carpenter, Malinski ; his step-son, Daniel (Niece) Powell; three grandsons, Michael Powell, Alex (Miranda) Bisconti and Randall (Lauren Lambertson) Bisconti; three great-grandchildren, Mariah Powell, and Sierra and Logan Bisconti; two brothers; and a sister.

Visitation: Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
