Marie R. Heine, 88, of Tamaroa, passed away at 8:50 A.M., Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Fairview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Du Quoin.
Marie had worked for many years as the janitor for Sacred Heart Church in Dupo, IL. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa.
She was born September 5, 1924 at Tamaroa, IL, the daughter of Enoch F. and Anna (Kurtz) Malinski.
She married Everett L. Heine on November 18, 1947 at Arkansas and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2003.
She is survived by two daughters – Kathy Miller and friend Harold Valentine and Linda Elder and husband Ronnie, all of Tamaroa, two sisters – Anna Marie "Bunch" Wynn of Liberty, MO, and Millie Morgan of Du Quoin, seven grandchildren – Dana Wyciskalla and Jerry of Tamaroa, Jeff Miller and Leslie of Tamaroa, Amy Miller and James Maynard of Tamaroa, Kevin Elder of Louisville, KY, Brian Elder and Candice of DuBois, Katina Nichols of Oklahoma and Lonnie Heine of Oklahoma, and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son – Eugene Heine, and five brothers – Chuck Malinski, Joe Malinski, Mike Malinski, John Malinski and Kenny Malinski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 P.M., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to Masses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
