Jerry worked in the Okla. and Texas oilfields before settling at Del City in 1957. At that time, Jerry went to work driving a semi-truck cross country for American Farm Lines and Mid-America before retiring in 1992.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Beverly; daughters, Jeri Ann Arther of Choctaw and Linda White and husband, Dale of Okemah; grandchildren, Ricky and Randy White, Tamra Ward and Julie Arther; great grandchild, Dusty White. Also brother, Moon Ables of Hobbs, N.M. and sisters, Mary Lou Chaney and Jane Gardner of Madill.
Graveside services: Monday, Feb. 21, 1994 at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
