Clement H. Hohman, 77, of 4575 East Pike, died at 10:03 at Bethesda Hospital from injuries received after he was struck by a car near the Holiday Inn east of Zanesville. Mr. Hohman was retired from the maintenance department at Municipal Airport and was also a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Nicholas Church.
Born Dec. 31, 1903 in Fulda (Noble County), Mr. Hohman was a son of Maurice J. and Teresa Heil Hohman. Surviving are his wife, Marie A. Noll Hohman, whom he married Aug 21, 1934, three sons, Charles M. of Granville, Richard C. of Des Moines, Iowa. and L. Dale of Pickerington; two brothers, Joseph S. of Caldwell and Francis of Lewisville; four sisters, Sister Benita Marie Hohman of Manitowoc, Wis., Sister M. Cordia Hohman of Kaukauna, Wis., Mrs. Clara Smithberger of Reynoldsburg, and Mrs. Edward (Rose) O'Brien of Mentone, Cal., and six grandchildren. A daughter, Dorothy A. Hohman, and a son, Lawrence J. Hohman, preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hillis Funeral Home where wake services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mas s will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father William Metzger officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
