Eleanor Matthews Jacobs, 88, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011. She was born January 9, 1923 to the late James and Lovie (Wood) Matthews.
Eleanor is survived by one brother, Howard Matthews and wife, Dot of Cary, NC; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Cope and one brother, Jim Matthews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 2, 2011 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cary.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
