(Birth dates are controversial and I have never received proof - the only thing anyone has agreed on is the month of Oct - the year has either been 1832 or 1833 and the day from 22, 28 to 29. Also, she could not have been born in Polk Co. as it was not formed until 1838 by taking parts of McMinn, Monroe, & Bradley counties.
