Michael F. Schmidgall Jr., 82, died at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 29, 2011) at Hopedale Nursing Home, Hopedale.
He was born Oct. 23, 1929 in Little Mackinaw Township to Michael F. Schmidgall Sr. and Sylvia R. Klein. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Davison and one infant brother.
He married Emalou Corinne Leach in Minier on Dec. 31, 1950. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Jacquelyn Schmidgall, Kewanee and Joan (Bill) Harrison, Minier; one son, Michael (Lisa) Schmidgall, Mackinaw; four grandchildren, Justin and Brandon Schmidgall and Corinne and Shane Harrison and two great-grandchildren, Quinn and Ozzie Schmidgall.
