Morton - Betty L. Davison, 82, formerly of 1018 S. Main St., Morton, died at 5:25 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, at Rose Garden Care Center in Peoria Heights. She was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Pekin to Michael D. and Sylvia R. Klein Schmidgall. She married George K. Davison on Sept. 17, 1944, at the Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Ill. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1986. Surviving are one daughter, Kathleen (and Alan) Lebeck of Albuquerque, N.M.; one son, Mark (and Carol) Davison of Tremont; three grandchildren, Scott Jeffrey (and Kassy) Davison of East Peoria, Britt Hillary Davison of Normal and Kurt Davison (and Tanya) Lebeck of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Scott Davison and Arvo Lazlo Lebeck; and one brother, Michael (and Emalou) Schmidgall of Minier. Betty cherished her times with family and friends and freely gave to them her love and support. She belonged to a sewing club and potluck club for over five decades She loved to decorate her home inside and out for every holiday and season. She enjoyed travel, music, and plays She was a graduate of Minier High School and Brown's Business College in Peoria. Betty was an office manager for a mason contractor for 11 years and also worked for Witzig's in Morton for three years until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton and the Home Extension.
