Elley Leona Reeder, 93, died Thursday in a local hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. Reeder was born in Brown County and was a homemaker. She was a member of Early Church of Christ and was the widow of White Law Reeder.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Raymond Reeder of Talco and Leroy Reeder of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Bertha Foley of Archer City and Lila Gowin of Brownwood; one brother, Andrew Bullard; three sisters, Maudie Hillhouse of Brady, Oleta Painter of Brownwood and Opal Modawell of Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
