Maudie "Penny" ( Nee: Bullard )Hillhouse, 90, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, in Brady. She was born Jan. 30, 1909 in Runnels County to Calvin and Viola Bullard she was one of 12 children . She worked as a nurse's aide, married Richard Delbert Hillhouse 1925.
Proceeded by her Parents , Infant brother and Sister and Husband; Richard Hillhouse in 1956
Survivors include Sons: Richard Delbert Hillhouse Jr, Elbert Eugene Hillhouse, and Daughter Elizabeth Hillhouse.
Sisters: Opal Gotcher of Utah,Oleta ''Maggie'' Painter of Brownwood, Clara Stevens of California, Ellie Reeder of Brownwood,
Brothers: Theodore Roosevelt Bullard, Albert Lee Bullard, Andrew Johnson Bullard.
A daughter-in-law, Betty Hillhouse of Brady; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. today in Wilkerson Memorial Chapel with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. Arrangements are by Heart of Texas Funeral Home.
