MRS. IDA BOUCHER EXPIRED SATURDAY;
Funeral Rites Tuesday
Mrs. Ida Boucher aged 79 years died at Saturday evening at the home of her daughter Mrs. Leo Busch, 415 North street, Murphysboro.
Mrs. Boucher, the daughter of Cryus S. and Mary A .Griffith, deceased pioneer family of Murphysboro, had been ill the past 11 months.
She was born in Somerset township in Jackson County January 16, 1862 and was a resident of this vicinity her entire life.
Surviving children are, Albert Boucher, 316 North 8th street and Mrs. Leo Busch ,North street. One brother, Ed Griffith, North Sth street, Murphysboro, five grand children and four great grandchildren also survive. A son, George M., preceded her in death.
Mrs. Boucher was a member of the Zion Lutheran church and well known to both young and old members of this community.
Funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Roberts Funeral chapel with the Rev. E. C. Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Tower Grove cemetery.
