Oma T. Branham Newsome Reynolds

Age, 89, of Harold, Ky, wife of the late Oscar Reynolds, passed away Monday,
March 4, 2002, in the Pikeville Methodist Hospital, Pikeville, Ky. She was born
June 4, 1912, in Pike County, Ky., the daughter of the late Myles Branham and
Dulcenia Martin. Mrs. Reynolds was a homemaker, and a member of the Betsy Layne
Freewill Baptist Church, Betsy Layne, Ky., since 1958. Survivors include five
sons, Minis Newsom of Stanville, Ky., Omer Reynolds of Lantana, Fl., Vernon
Reynolds of Printer, Ky., Myles Jefferson Reynolds of Wyandotte, Mi., Kenneth
Darrell Reynolds of Trenton, Mi.; four daughters, Dollie Ralph of Carleton, Mi.,
Thelma L. Clark and Wanda Patierno, both of Harold, Ky., Geneva Wright of
Belleville, Mi.; one brother, Myles Branham Jr. of Pikeville, Ky.; three
sisters, Faye Lesley of Pikeville, Ky., Ginger Branham of Ocean City, Md., Ann
Trichlo of Fairfax, Va., Dinah Viers of Ypsilanti, Mi.; 40 grandchildren, 70
great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents
and second husband, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her first husband,
Preston Newsom; one son, James C. Reynolds; one daughter, Christine Newsom; and
one sister, Opal Parkhurst. Funeral services for Oma T. Branham Newsom Reynolds
will be conducted, Friday, March 8, 2002, at 1 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home
Chapel, Martin, Ky., with Clergyman Tracy Patton officiating. Burial will follow
in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, Ky., under the professional care of the
Hall Funeral Home. Visitation is after 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral
home.
