Leslie Stubbs
Funeral rites will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Harrison chapel at Kewanna for Leslie STUBBS, 87, Monterey, who died Thursday morning at Woodlawn hospital here. A retired farmer, he had been ill 10 weeks.
Mr. Stubbs was born near Kewanna on July 13, 1875, the son of Francis and Martha BARRELL STUBBS. He was married to Dora Belle WOLFE, who died in 1928.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Inez MURRAY, Rochester; Mrs. Gledodolyn DeMONT, LaPorte; Mrs. Mattie BARTH, Mishawaka, Mrs. Loretta BRADWAY, Akron, and Miss Helen STUBBS, at home; three sons, Carl [STUBBS], Culver; Walter and Ivan [STUBBS], both at home; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie McVAY, Rochester, and Mrs. Austin McINTIRE, Delong.
