Annie Jarvis Ramsey, 89, of Fairfield died at her home Friday, Nov. 18, 2011.
Born May 31, 1922, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Howard Jarvis and Mary Katherine Phillips Jarvis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Morris Wilson Ramsey. She was a member of Marlbrook Baptist Church.
Surviving are five children, Phillip Ramsey of Calhoun, Ga., Randy "Paul" Ramsey, Paster Rick Ramsey and Bonnie Snyder, all of Fairfield, and Morris "Buck" Ramsey of Bradenton, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Marlbrook Baptist Church, with Pastor Rick Ramsey officiating. Burial followed in Glasgow Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
