WINTEC filter Products was founded in 1964 by John Winzen for the primary purpose to produce high quality/high performance filters and propellant management devices for commercial business, Aerospace and Commercial/Military Aviation Industries. The company was acquired by Brunswick Corporation in 1972 as part of an expansion program of its Technetics Division and was subsequently acquired by WINTEC, LLC in December of 1995. WINTEC, LLC operates as a stand-alone "small business" enterprise and continues its 32 year history of fabricating superior and uniquely engineered products. After John sold Wintec, he stayed on as a consultant.

John loved photography and when he'd show his photographs, naturally the stories would come out. Unfortunately over time his Alzheimer's took the stories and his quality of life.
