Mom's Spiritual Journey
When mom became ill,
... And could not leave her bed,
The house became sad-
We became sad.
And time seemed to move slowly.
And even the wind seemed slow-
Our world was in slow motion…
Then on that fateful Sunday morning,
She flew up to HEAVEN.
And the wind flew quickly past us…
At her burial I felt her telling me
And showing my heart…
That she had gone to a beautiful place!
A place where she was
Free-
Free of all the weight of this world,
Free of all its problems,
All its fears and
Free of all its sadness
Now there was ONLY
Joy, Light and Happiness!!!
She then told me
To look up at the heavens….
So she could say goodbye….
Until I, someday…
With her…could fly!
