Iram J. Lentz, of the Brethren Home, Neffsville, formerly of Lebanon died Saturday afternoon at the home. He was 78.

He was a retired lay minister of the Church of the Brethren, and was a member of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren.

Lentz was retired from the Reading Railroad where he had worked as a telegrapher.

He was born in Hamlin, Lebanon County, a son of the late Nathan G. and Emma Klein Lentz.

Surviving are his wife, Sadie E. Hertzler Lentz; four children: Elwood I. Lentz, Conroe. Texas; Arthur S. Lentz, Jacksonville, Fla.; Evelyn G., wife of Jay Frantz, Mishawaka, Ind.; Lela M., wife of Raymond Kerry, Pine Grove; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a brother, William H. Lentz, Myerstown.

Funeral on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lebanon Church of the Brethren. Interment at Grand View Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited. Friends may call Tuesday evening 7 to 9 at Chrstman's Funeral Home, 226 Cumberland St. Also viewing at the Church from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Funeral services for Iram J. Lentz of Neffsville Brethren Home, formerly of Lebanon, were held this afternoon from the Lebanon Church of the Brethren.

The Rev. Donald Fogelsanger, the paster officiated, along with the Rev. John D. Ebersole. The latter is from the Neffsville Brethren Home.

Interment was made at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Pallbearers, all nephews,were: Clarence Krall, Samuel Lentz, Paul Lentz and Caleb Lentz.

The Christman Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
