Maria Angeline Noel was born November 25, 1856, in Ligonier, a daughter of Lazarus and Margaret Stepp Noel.
Ange married her cousin - who was also her older sister Catharine's widower - William Noel, and became the step mother of William's three sons. Together, William and Ange had 6 children - 5 sons and a daughter.
Mrs. Angeline Noel, 85 years of age, died in the Latrobe Hospital the morning of April 17, 1942, of complications.
The deceased was survived by one daughter, seven sons, 20 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
