William Noel, aged 86 years, one month and four days, a retired Ligonier township farmer, died at his home at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Although in failing health, recently Mr. Noel had been able to be about, refusing to remain bedfast. About 2 o'clock yesterday, he took to his bed, and was dead within a few hours.
He is survived by his widow, eight sons, one daughter, 16 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
The Masons will be in charge of the funeral.
