Levi Shearer died at the home of his son, Alfred, in South Middleton of stomach trouble aged 72. A wife and the following children survive: James, of Minnesota; Alfred, of South Middleton, Mrs. John Blair, of Carlisle; Mrs. Frank Obendweller, of Harrisburg; Mrs. Sarah Fox, of Altoona; Mrs. Bentzler, of Carlisle; David, of Alaska, and Emanuel and Levi, of Pittsburg.
