MRS. SADIE HITE
Died at 10.30 a.m. yesterday after an extended illness at 1535 18th St., where she resided with a daughter, Mrs. Helen Lingenfelter. She was born in Perry County June 7, 1874, a daughter of Levi and Martha (Closson) Shearer, and was twice married, first to William Fox, who died in 1907, then to Ira Hite, who died in 1940. Surviving are five children, John of New Port Ritchey, Fla., Samuel of Mount Union, Mrs. Ethel McKiernan of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Rene Hite of Philadelphia and Mrs. Lingenfelter; five step-chidlren, Mrs. Hazel Peterson of Layton, Utah, Donald and Stanley of Seattle, Wash., Daniel of Great Falls, Mont., and George of Altoona; 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was of the E.U.B. faith.

HITE -- Services for Mrs. Sadie Hite of 1535 18th St., will be held at the convenience of the family by the Rev. Robert A. Dilliard. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
