Mrs. Evelyn E. Wolfe

Mrs. Evelyn E. Wolfe, 71, 141 E. Antietam St. died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Linda Henesy of Williamsport.

Born in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Florence Keefauver Minnich.

She was the widow of Ernest P. Wolfe Sr.

She was a member of the First Brethren Church and the Womens Missionary Society, the Auxiliary of the Washington County Hospital, and the Funkstown Homemakers and AARP.

She had been employed for 21 years at Harper & Row Publishers until retiring in 1971.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Dew E. Shoaf and Mrs. Janice A. Toms, both of Hagerstown, Mrs. Shirley E. Wooldbridge of Sarasota, Fla., and Mrs. Linda Henesy of Williamsport; two sons, William E. Wolfe of St. Cloud, Fla. and Ernest P. Wolfe Jr. of Malibu, Calif.; and one brother, John E. Minnich of Boonsboro, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd, at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. John Mills will officiate.

Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9.
