DEW ELAINE SHOAF, 89, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2015, at Charlotte's Home in Boonsboro, MD. Born October 21, 1925, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ernest P. and Evelyn (Minnich) Wolfe.

She was a 1945 graduate of Hagerstown High School, and worked as a draftsman for Fairchild and the Washington County engineers office until her retirement in 1988. Dew was a member of Good Shepherd Ministries of Hagerstown.

She is survived by two sons, Steven and Jeffrey of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Janice Viertel, Shirley Dennis, Linda Henesy; and nieces and nephews.

Dew loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also an excellent cook and baker, and enjoyed being outside and working in the garden.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Shoaf; and her brother, Bill Wolfe.

A memorial service will be held at The Good Shepherd Ministries, Hagerstown. Inurnment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
